Lee's Summit Police Investigating Suspicious Activity In Local Park

Sept. 7, 2011

During the evening hours of August 21st, officers with the Lee’s Summit Police Department were called to the area of Osage Trails Park in the 4200 Block of SW Pryor Road on a report of a suspicious vehicle and person.

Once on scene, officers made contact with the victim who stated that while walking in the park with her dog, she observed a male subject acting suspicious.  The victim stated that it appeared the male subject was following her on the trail system and watching her from a distance.

The male subject is described as white male approximately 40 years of age with short, dark hair and an unusual walk or limp.  His vehicle was described as a gray in color, late 90’s sedan with MO license plates, possibly a Dodge Intrepid or Chrysler type vehicle.

The Lee’s Summit Police Department is asking anyone with information to contact the Lee’s Summit Police Department Tips Line at 816-969-1752.
