Lee's Summit's Got Talent Season 2 Coming June 8, 2012

June 5, 2012

Lee’s Summit’s Got Talent returns with the best talent in the Kansas City metro area on June 8 at the Lee’s Summit High School Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m.  The energy and excitement is mounting as twenty performers compete for a $5,000 cash prize in Season 2 of Lee’s Summit’s premier talent competition.  Performances will include bands, vocalists, musicians and dancers.

Highly acclaimed Las Vegas performer Matt Lewis is returning as a celebrity judge for Lee’s Summit’s Got Talent Season 2.  Famous jazz trumpeter Mike Metheny and well-known and talented local stage actress Dodie Brown will round out the celebrity judge panel.  “We are very excited to announce that 2012 American Idol Contestant Luke Minx will also be performing in the show.  He has quite a following, so with the combination of twenty talented acts competing for $5,000, our celebrity judge panel and Luke, we expect a sellout crowd,” says Anne Aubuchon, Event Chairman.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.  Tickets are on sale now at Lee’s Summit Hy-Vee stores and Great Southern Bank on Ward Road in Lee’s Summit and can also be purchased online at lscares.org.

All seats are general admission.  For more information about Lee’s Summit’s Got Talent visit lscares.org.
