The City’s snow removal crews continued to plow snow and slush from City roadways this afternoon after our area received its first significant snowfall this winter. Crews will continue plowing slush, snow and treating slick spots on roadways tonight.

Residents can receive updates about the City’s snow removal efforts by e-mail, cell phone text message and Web by visiting: Nixle.com. Nixle is a FREE service.

Residents are also encouraged to
Stay up-to-date on weather conditions by listening to radio, viewing television weather casts, and going online.

Remove vehicles from streets to prevent a delay and to improve the snow removal proces

Shovel snow to the side of your driveway to lessen the amount of snow left at the entrance of your driveway.

Call the Snow Desk at (816) 969-1870. Normal business hours are 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. During winter storm events, the Snow Desk operates 24 hours a day.
