Noodle & Company NOW OPEN
Colorado-based Noodles & Company is a quick-casual restaurant serving Asian, Mediterranean and American inspired noodle dishes, soups and salads. The menu has something for everyone from kids to adults.  All of their food is prepared fresh, made to order and in the company’s words, “served fast on real china with real silverware. No tipping is allowed and you don’t have to clear your plates either. We just want our guests to sit back, relax and enjoy.”

After several events focused on giving to the community, Noodles & Company’s Lee’s Summit location opened for business, Friday, February 19th.  Earlier in the week many local citizens were treated to a free lunch at a special VIP event followed later in the day by a special Friends and Family event.  Thursday evening in celebration of the opening, the public was invited to a pre-opening fundraiser.  The restaurant will donate 100 percent of the proceeds generated from the fundraiser to Lee’s Summit North High School.

The company prides itself on “serving really good food, served by genuine nice people, in a friendly comfortable place.”  Their pre-opening events typified this philosophy.  These were not ‘soft opening’ events held to give the staff practice.  The food and the service made you feel like this was a long established business staffed by professionals who know their business.  And talk about nice, some folks who wandered into the Friends and Family event thinking the restaurant was open were welcomed, asked to stay and given a free meal.

Mac & Cheese, Pad Thai, Chinese Chop Salad, Pesto Cavatappi and more made only with fresh and wholesome ingredients. Every bowl is prepared to-order in about five minutes with only the best noodles and pasta, fresh vegetables, authentic herbs and spices, artisan sauces and grilled chicken, beef, shrimp or organic tofu.

The restaurant was named as its #3 Healthiest Fast-Food Restaurant by Health Magazine in 2009. The magazine ranked the restaurant #1 in 2008.  Parents magazine crowned Noodles & Company #3 on its top 10 list of Best Fast-Casual Family Restaurants.  The Parents article goes on to praise the fact that every dish is prepared individually, allowing customization to add or drop vegetables, proteins and change the types of noodles to please even the pickiest of eaters.  In fact, two thirds of its dishes are less than 500 calories. The company’s educational Good Balance program was created to help guests make customizable food choices to meet their own balanced diet and needs.  All nutritional information is available on their website www.noodles.com.

The new restaurant is located at 651 N.W. Blue Parkway at the intersection of Chipman Road and Blue Parkway.  The new Lee’s Summit Noodles & Company will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. Convenient carry-out, phone-in or fax-in orders also are available. Guests may reach the new Lee’s Summit Noodles & Company location by calling 816-246-8400 or faxing 816-246-8042.
