Lions Club District 26M5 Awards Senior Members

Lion Ken Burnett of the Lees Summit Lion Club was recently presented a Certificate of Distinction by Lion Club President Lion Shane McCary. This Certificate was generated by Lion District Governor Alcy and signed by District Governor Patricia Malkmus-Esponza and awarded to Lions in the District for attaining the age of 90+ Years for long and faithful service to Lions International and the Missouri Lions Clubs. Lion Ken has been serving Lions for over 56 Years and is 92 years old. Lion Ken transferred into this club in 1994 from the League City, Texas Lion Club.  He was President of that Club in 1970-71.  In this club Lion Ken was Secretary for 4 year and was a tail Twister, Lion Tamer and on the Board of Directors. He was very talented in the use of the Computer, Printing Pancake Tickets and award certificates. Lion Ken was and Electrical Engineer for General Electric prior to His Retirement and now resides at John Knox Village. Submitted by Lion Robert Hayter.
