Local Attorney Honors Widow’s Day in May with Special Rates for Estate Planning

May 10, 2014

Lee’s Summit attorney Jennifer J. Mickelson, who became a widow at the age of 36, is offering early estate planning services for widows at 50-percent reduced rates during the month of May to honor National Widows Day, observed each May 3rd.

A strong advocate for early estate planning, Mickelson is the co-leader of the Kansas City Chapter of the Modern Widows Club, MWC, a national organization with local chapters located across the United States.
“I was inspired to join the organization after going through the tragic loss of my spouse,” Michelson said. “I want to give back to others facing the same.”
