Luke McKenney Named Lee’s Summit R-7 Learning For Life Award Winner For January

January 11, 2014

Luke McKenney was named the Lee’s Summit R-7 School District Learning for Life Award winner for January. He is a science teacher at Lee’s Summit High School.

The award is presented to one employee each month who is nominated by co-workers and selected by a staff committee.

"Luke is an excellent teacher who works to ensure that all students of varying abilities learn," said a colleague. "He continually looks to improve on past lessons, quizzes and tests in order to help students succeed."
