Maj. Joe Walter Promoted to Commander of the 442nd Force Support Squadron

November 6, 2010 was a very important day for a Lee’s Summit native. Maj. Joe Walter, who graduated from Lee’s Summit High School, was promoted to Commander of the 442nd Force Support Squadron when the 442nd Fighter Wing’s mission support flight and services flight combined.This is an Air Force-wide merger that will affect the world.
Maj. Walter, the son of Gene Walter, has been serving our country for 30 years.
