Howard and Claudene McCracken
Howard and Claudene McCracken of Lee’s Summit, MO celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.
They were married in Osceola, MO on October 12, 1940. Howard and Claudine met in high school.
Howard was a World War II vet and served in the Navy for two years. He was employed by Sears for 26 years. After leaving Sears, Howard and Claudene were in the furniture business in downtown Lee’s Summit for 25years and retired in 1992, they owned McCracken Home Furnishings
They have three children, seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren. Howard and Claudene have been residing in Lee’s Summit, MO for 59 years.
