Musical Miracles concert to benefit Kuhlman Family
June 18, 2011
A “Musical Miracles” benefit concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. June 28 at the Lee’s Summit North High School Performing Arts Center, 901 NE Douglas Street. The concert is a benefit for Scott Kuhlman, LSNHS band director, and his family. Admission is free, and a goodwill offering will be accepted.
Earlier this year, Mr. Kuhlman, became critically ill. He has been hospitalized since early May and is continuing to fight his illness. Mr. Kuhlman and his family are facing many challenges, and organizers of the concert hope to ease their financial burdens through this fundraiser. Money raised will help offset expenses related to his hospitalization.
In addition to a number of featured performers, the June 28 concert will include a bake sale and a silent auction. Donations are also being accepted to help Mr. Kuhlman and his family through a special fund. If you would like to donate, send your check to The Scott and Jeanne Kuhlman fund, c/o Summit Bank of Kansas City, 1650 NE Grand Ave., Suite 100, Lee’s Summit, Mo., 64086.
