New Tenants Coming To Chipman And Blue Parkway

April 12, 2014

The city council approved redevelopment of the former Original Pizza building at the southeast corner of Chipman Road and Blue Parkway. The existing 3,000 square foot building and adjacent parking lot will be razed. It will be replaced with a 6,500 square foot, two-tenant building and new parking lot. The pole sign will be replaced by a monument sign, pending that application.

The space will be occupied by Mattress Firm and The Vitamin Shoppe.

"It looks like a great product," said Councilmember Brian Whitley.

The proposed plan will reduce the amount of impervious coverage to 67%, below the current commercial limit of 80%. The existing site has 87% impervious coverage.
