Off Road Motorcycle Accident In Lee's Summit

April 18, 2014

On 4/18 at approximately 7:00 p.m. emergency crews responded to the 100 block  of NW Lakewood Boulevard on a reported motorcycle crash. When officers arrived, they found a single vehicle crash involving an off road motorcycle. The motorcycle was being operated behind a home in the area when the rider struck a tree.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 27 year old Lee's Summit man was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries to his feet and lower legs.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation, Police are trying to determine if alcohol was a factor in the accident.
