One Good Meal started in 1995 with two women with ood intentions to help cover the need when Meals on Wheels exceeded their capacity. It serves noon-time meals to seniors and home-bound in Lee’s Summit.
Saturday, October 6 One Good Meal is hosting One Good Walk, a point 5K walk/run that is fun and friendly. One Good Walk will be held at Harris Park. The 5K will begin at 8:00 a.m.
The fee is $15.00 per person and $5.00 for anyone 12 and under or over 60. The registration fee includes a t-shirt, water bottle and goodie bag. Pastries, juice, water and fruit will also be served. Register online at www.onegoodmeal.org.
