Orchard Street Project Informational Meeting

he City of Lee’s Summit invites the public to attend an informational meeting about the design-build project NE Orchard Street – NE Douglas to NE Independence, which will be held from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30, in the Howard A Conference Room of Lee’s Summit City Hall, 220 S.E. Green St.

The project was approved by voters in April 2013 for no-tax increase general obligation bond funding. The improvements are generally anticipated to include street reconstruction, installation of concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, stormwater improvements, and utility relocations as required.

A second meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the Howard A Conference Room at Lee’s Summit City Hall, 220 S.E. Green St.
