Lee’s Summit Lions Club Update

The Lee's Summit Lions Club met at the Neighborhood Café on Tuesday January, 24th 2017.  At that meeting, a 40-year Award was Presented to Lion Paul Watts.  

This award was from Lions International and presented by Vice District Governor Greg Gilliam, District 26M5. VDG Lion Greg is from the Independence Host Club.

Council Rules Committee Addresses Agenda Rules

A measure to define agenda rules went before the Council Rules Committee during the January 23 meeting. Councilmember Diane Seif, committee chair, explained that as chair she thought that it might be prudent to define some items, such as public comments, that come up on the council agendas. Public comments are not defined in the council rule book, she said.
