New Walmart Supercenter Opened Its Doors on March 15

Lee's Summit Police Conduct Alcohol Sales Enforcement

On Friday, March 10th, the Lee’s Summit Police Department conducted a liquor control “sting” operation within the city. The operation targeted retail establishments responsible for following municipal and state law regarding the sale of alcohol to minors.  A total of 16 retail locations were checked, with two clerks being cited for an illegal sale.

Matt Lewis Needs Lee’s Summit’s Help

Matt Lewis, son of Judge Bill Lewis, 1991 Lee’s Summit High School graduate, and Lee’s Summit and world-wide known Elvis impersonator needs your help. 

His wife, Janell Lewis, is currently critically ill in an ICU in Nevada and needs life-saving surgery at UCLA. Their insurance will not cover the costs of the transfer and surgery and Janelle needs to be transferred immediately.
