Paradise Park Partners with Summit Christian Academy

February 1, 2014

Paradise Parks Representative Adrienne McCartney presents a check to SCA Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Sue Santon and SCA Elementary Vice Principal Mrs. Charissa Sanders at SCA during the elementary school chapel

SCA recently held a school spirit event at Paradise Park and the students helped to raise money for the school by participating in a night of fun at Paradise Park. Paradise Park Representative Adrienne McCartney recently presented SCA a check from the event.

As part of the spirit event, students participated in a classroom attendance contest. The classroom with the greatest percentage of student attendance won a $100 classroom grant, along with free passes for a future visit to Paradise Park. This year, for the third year in a row, SCA Kindergarten Teacher Mrs. Sue Santon won the contest.

"We are all very curious to know Mrs. Santon’s secret, what she tells her students to get them to show-up," said SCA Elementary Vice Principal Mrs. Charissa Sanders. "We love that the students and teachers show school spirit and have a great time at Paradise Park."
