Paradise Park plays host to the 4th annual Strotherfest, July 30 - 31, 2010

Paradise Park, Kansas City's Premier Family Destination, plays host to Strotherfest 2010, July 30-31, from 9:30 a.m.-11 p.m. each day, with vendor booths opening at noon on Friday and 10 a.m. on Saturday. Strotherfest offers families an array of games, activities, musical entertainment, car show and food. For-profits and non-profits alike can sell exclusive $5 Paradise Park coupons to fundraise for their organization. Participating organizations keep 100% of the monies collected, and the purchaser receives a series of coupons redeemable at Strotherfest 2010, a value of over $25. Friday, July 30, begins the battle of the bands competition showcasing a select group of area bands competing for prizes and the honor of being this year's Strotherfest winner. Saturday, July 31, features a car show from 11:00 a.m.-3 p.m. The battle of the bands continues Saturday night with the top bands competing with some of the metro's finest entertainers until 10:30 p.m. There will be a diverse group of vendors at Strotherfest 2010. A variety of festival foods, refreshing beverages, local artisans and community organizations will make up a large part of the festival's community involvement.
