Police Administrative Services Closed Again Today, February 5, 2014

February 5, 2014

As a result of the inclement weather, the Police Department has closed administrative functions for the day.  All of our sworn staff is at work today and answering emergency and non-emergency calls for service, however our records unit and other administrative units are closed for the day.  (Wednesday, 2/5/14)

It is our plan to reopen all administrative functions on Thursday, 2/6/2014.

If you need to file a walk in accident report, please remember the following things:

1.  There is no urgency to filing the report, it can be done anytime in days following the accident, 3-5 days is acceptable.

2.  When you come in, you need to bring as much information for yourself and the other driver as possible.  This includes the driver's name, insurance company, vehicle information and the location of your crash.  Without the information for the other driver it delays the filing of the report and ultimately your insurance claim.
