Public Meeting: Lee’s Summit Road Improvement Project
January 19, 2013
The City of Lee’s Summit’s Public Works Department will have a public open house meeting to familiarize residents and stakeholders in the surrounding areas with plans for the proposed Lee’s Summit Road Improvement Project.
The meeting is Tuesday, January 29, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Oakwood Baptist Church, 7600 Lee’s Summit Road, Kansas City, MO.
Staff from the cities of Lee’s Summit and Kansas City, Missouri will present the right-of-way plans for proposed improvements to Lee’s Summit Road from Colbern Rd. to Gregory Blvd. tentatively scheduled to begin construction in the summer of 2014. The plans contain construction impacts to properties related to the three-lane roadway between Colbern Rd. and Strother Rd., as well as the right-of-way and temporary easements that may affect individual properties.
Attendees will have an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed project plans. Staff from both cities as well as a design consultant from Trans Systems will be available to provide information and answer questions.
