R-7 SCHOOL DISTRICT DISMISSING EARLY ON FRIDAY, JAN. 13

January 13, 2017

By Janice Phelan
Communications Executive Director
Lee's Summit R-7 School District

All Lee’s Summit R-7 Schools are dismissing early on Friday, Jan. 13, due to inclement weather.

School will be dismissed on our normal early release schedule available on our website. You may also contact your child’s school for today’s dismissal time. This is approximately 2 ˝ hours before the normal time for schools.

The decision to dismiss school early is based on student safety and takes current and anticipated road conditions and extremes in temperature and wind chill into consideration.
