Vote in 'Battle of the Brains'

November 12, 2011

Three R-7 schools are among the 10 elementary school finalists in the Science City and Burns & McDonnell “Battle of the Brains” contest. Schools submitted designs for the next great exhibit for Science City. The winning entry will assist engineers in creating the actual exhibit and be awarded $50,000.

Finalists are:

• Bug Street – Pleasant Lea Elementary
• Hall of Magnets – Richardson Elementary
• Digest Quest – Woodland Elementary

Thirty percent of the final selection in the Battle of the Brains is determined by public vote. The remaining 70 percent is based on judges’ scoring.Each email address can vote once per category per day until 5 p.m. on November 18. Visit http://battleofthebrainskc.com/how-to-vote
