Red Cross Opens Shelters in Oak Grove and Gower, MO

Red Cross Opens Shelters in Oak Grove and Gower, MO

11:16 p.m.

The American Red Cross is opening a shelter at the Oak Grove Civic Center, 2110 S. Broadway, Oak Grove, Mo. to help those in the Grain Valley, Bates City, Oak Grove and Odessa areas who were affected by the storm.

A second shelter has been set up at the Gower Christian Church. 203 Third St., Gower, Mo. Individuals from that area who were affected by tonight's storms are encouraged to go to the shelter location for food, water or a place to spend the night.

    I want to thank u for all u do... and ask a ? Have u guys seen the town or now if sunshine st.. has been hit can't get a hold of my friend who lives at 100 ne sunshine st oak grove mo.. his name is Tim steffes can u tell me if it hit his street

    I am not with the Red Cross Directly, but I was helping operations at Oak Grove last night. I believe you can call 211 to get to the Missouri Directory, ask for the Red Cross (If they need specific information tell them what town your friend is in). They would have the information you need, or possibly can direct you to who might know.
