S. 291 Highway and SW Persels Wreck

On Wednesday, July 18th at 6:50 a.m. on the northbound Lanes of S. 291 Highway and SW Persels, Sgt. Chris Depue of LSPD stated, “Donald Cowick of Lee’s Summit, driving a 2003 Chevy Silverado Truck struck the rear of Susan Baker of Lake Winnebago, driving a 2010 Chevy Equinox SUV. The impact caused Baker to impact Kevin Newman of Lee’s Summit, driving a 1993 Honda Shadow motorcycle. That impact caused Newman to impact Kevin Eagleburger of Pleasant Hill, driving a 1993 Cadillac.”
Newman was transported from the scene by EMS for minor injuries. Cowick was issued a citation for following too closely.
