Santa Letters From Sixth graders in Mrs. Ticeís class at Trailridge Elementary

Santa Letters From Sixth graders in Mrs. Ticeís class at Trailridge Elementary

December 20, 2013

Dear Santa,

I really donít need anything this year. I already have a house and food on my table. I have more toys than I can count. Every Christmas you get me so many things. This year, give all of my presents to kids who are poor or who live in an orphanage. So itís clear that I have everything I need to be happy. But I was worried about something else. I was worried about world peace. Because people disagree or are selfish, our soldiers risk their lives. Iím not saying I donít like our president. I just want him to get along with the other leaders. So instead of giving me presents, could you stop wars?

Sincerely, Emmy H.

Dear Santa,

I really donít need anything. I have everything I need, my amazing little brother, my inspiring mom, and my super cool stepdad. But most people think you canít survive with just a family. Iím really thankful for my house, a bed to sleep in, and food on my table. Last but not least,..... well I donít even need it, Iím SUPER lucky to have a pet. A dog, I love her SO much!

Santa, if I could ask one thing of you this year, it would be for you to find a cure to cancer. Over 1,638,910 people die each year in the U.S. One of those people was my grandpa. My Aunt Dedee is suffering from Melanoma cancer in her liver. There are more than 200 types of cancer and it can be in any organ, there are 60 organs. I miss you, Papa. Aunt Dedee, I know God wonít make you suffer any longer. So please, if you could do that one thing, Santa. For me? Sincerely, Ellie W.

The one and only Santa Claus,

I donít really need anything for Christmas this year because I have everything that I need. I have family, friends, shelter, and food on my table! What more can I ask for? How about nail polish? NO! Puppy? NO! iPod, phone, laptop? NO NO NO!!! I donít need any of that! I am thankful for the things that I have. Iím thankful for my dog because she always keeps me company. Iím also very thankful for my family. My mom, dad, sisters and brothers. Even though one of my sisters and I fight--A LOT--she still does everything she can to make me happy and the other sometimes overreacts but we still love each other so much! And my brothers, the ones that play with me and let me play with their Ďtoysí. I canít even imagine my life without my warm, happy, loud, crazy, obnoxious, chaotic, loving home. The food on my table is usually very good, even though they are sometimes experiments. I am so very thankful for what I have! So Santa, I was thinkingÖ Maybe you could skip my house this year and go to the people who have no food or homes, or maybe even no family! I think that this year I will leave more cookies and milk on the table for you to share with the less fortunate. Shanyn M.

Dear Santa,

This year you can just skip my house, because I have everything I could need and want already! You were probably thinking I was going to ask for an Ipad or Xbox or something like that, but I donít need those things. All I want for Christmas is for everyone around the world to have food!I canít imagine not having food or a great family like I do. Sometimes we can take all of that for granted! Iím so thankful for my family and my warm house, I love to play with my brother and sister even though they are mean sometimes. So Santa, please skip my house this year and give my presents to someone else who really needs them! Since I already have everything I need and want for Christmas, I was wondering if you could go around the world and give hungry people food, so they could have a great Christmas. Santa, I know you probably already know everything about hunger, but did you know that 870 million people are hungry in the world today? Also 1.5 million people die from hunger in a year, that includes 16,000 kids, that means people die every 5 seconds from hunger around the world. Santa, you probably already know this too, but I asked Google if you were nice and it said yes! So please end hunger around the world for Christmas I know everyone will be happy. I hope you wonít let me down! Merry Christmas! Your friend, Daniel K.

Dear Santa,

I really donít want anything for Christmas. I already have so much to be thankful for. Like a loving family, a twin sister who I love, and food on the table everyday. Iím even grateful for my 2 dogs, Momo and Freddy. I couldnít ask for anything more. So please donít even bother stopping by my house on Christmas night. The people who REALLY need presents are the families in need. Families that canít pay for food or shelter deserve gifts. Other families with a roof over their head and food on the table donít need gifts. I really hope you understand. What if a winter storm comes? The homeless wonít have any way to keep warm! So Santa, please, donít drop by my house this year. Your favorite kid, Charli R.

Dear Santa,

Hereís what I think: My desire for toys are not as important as someoneís need for food. I donít want you to bring me anything. All the presents I WANT, could interfere with what someone really needs; theyíll die without it! If I were to ask for an X-Box 1, it could make it so you skip over a child, who needs some food, or water, shelter, or clothing. I do not want anything for me. None. Do not even bother to stop by my house. Oh wait Santa, before you go, donít trash this! I have an idea, letís end world hunger. Distribute food all over the globe just for me. So I guess in a way, I do want something for Christmas, but itís not for me. I hope you understand the struggle in the world for food. I would love it if you made time to give food and fresh water to families in need. Stop by Africa, and give them a year supply, so they always have good food. Thank you, I really hope you make a difference in our environment. Maybe next year I will ask about global warming. :3 Have a good year, Tori B.

Dear Santa,

Iím sure youíre expecting me to ask you for a puppy or something, but since Iíve already got everything I need for Christmas! Iím thankful for many things already. My mom just had a baby, heís healthy and thatís a blessing because my mom was a little old when she had him. Heís special to me because heís my only sibling. Iím also thankful for my mom because sheís a fighter. She loves me and will do anything for me and forgets to do things for herself rather than let me wait on something I want. Iím so close to all my family and Iím so lucky to have a day every month where we get together to remember that family matters. Iím also thankful for my dog which isnít a necessity, but I still love him. Another reason I donít want anything is because I have 3 AMAZING, IRREPLACEABLE, best friends who make me smile and laugh when Iím not in the mood. Jenny, Maddi, and Rach. What more could a girl want. I could live without anything EXCEPT family and friends. Santa, please skip my house and tell your elves to give my gifts to a family in need. I mentioned those families in need. Though Iím not one of those families in need, Iíd like you to get me the gift of helping a family in need. Specifically, in Afghanistan. Girls there canít go to school or theyíll be threatened or worse, killed. Thereís a very courageous and brave women who put together a foundation for girls in Afghanistan who canít go to school. Her name is Razia Jan. Girls can get an education through her foundation and I just want you to bring books and supplies to benefit their education because they may not be as lucky as me. Many kids say they hate school and skip class. They never think about the people who are battling to even go to school. Please Santa, give me this gift, if any. Iíd be happier if you got me this than some other new gadget Apple Inc. came out with.

Warmest Regards, Desireeí H

Dear Santa,

I really donít need anything this year. I am already thankful for so much! Sometimes I canít imagine life without my family and awesome friends always being there for me. Even when I get in trouble. I am so fortunate, sometimes I take it for granted. I am thankful for my brothers, sometimes annoying, sometimes not. I am very happy for my parents and stepparents, and all my family for that matter! And I have the most amazing best friends in the Universe! Charli and Marissa. They are so awesome, I would probably be dead without them. So Santa, save your elvesí energy this year and donít make anything for me; make something for those people without equal rights. (And everyone else too.) Actually Santa, you know I said people without equal rights. Ok, so have you heard whatís happening in Afghanistan? Girls arenít even allowed to go to school! I mean, isnít that the slightest bit messed up? Every person should be able to choose their clothes, occupation, what they do, and when they do it. No one, I repeat, no one should be able to tell you what to do. Santa, four words for my gift. Equal. Rights. For. Everybody. "I know, up on top you are seeing great sights, but down here at the bottom we, too, should have rights." Dr Seuss, Yertle the Turtle and Gertrude McFuzz Sincerely, Natalia A.

Dear Santa,

I donít really need anything this year. I already have everything I could possibly need or want. I have a family that is near and that loves me. I have a roof over my head and food on the table. I have a great combined family that cares about me.

So, anyway I want a laptop, a camera, and maybe a xboxÖ wait, no all I want for Christmas is for you to get in your sleigh. Go to Afghanistan and get our brave soldiers. Bring them to their families for Christmas and other holidays around this time. Thank you for everything in the past years, but this year please skip my house. Go to all of the kids in need and give them the presents that you were planning to give me. Sincerely, Sydney S.

Dear Santa,

I bet youíre expecting a super long list like last year but not again. Iím already thankful for my loving home where my family eats, laughs, and plays. I am also thankful for my friends which help me when Iím mad. Now that I told why Iím thankful you can skip my house but if there are any leftovers, bring them to me. Now that I think that I have everything, hereís what I want you to change. Global Warming. I bet you didnít even know, but your everyday life is contributing to Global Warming. Also Global Warming is why we have so many tornados, hurricanes, and floods. Now that is what I want for Christmas the most, Santa. Sincerely, Andrew K.

Dear Santa,

I donít want much for Christmas. Presents arenít important. Your family and friends are important. Where would we be without these things? I am thankful for all of those. Iím more thankful for what I have than what I will get. Santa, while you are on you sleigh, stop by a bullyís house. I know they deserve coal, but no. They should get wonderful things. I know that sounds silly but a bullyís life has been hard in the past, like being taken away from their parents because they did drugs. Or their parents never tell them that they love them. I would really like you make them have a better life and to not bully. Thatís all I want for Christmas besides all that high-gadget-thingys. Santa, can you please make peopleís lives better?

Sincerely, Thomas S.

Dear Santa,

This year you can skip my house. I already have enough to be thankful for. I am thankful for my loving and caring family that would do anything for me and I would do anything for them. I am thankful for my amazing friends that hang out with me. Also, I am thankful for my playful dog and my cuddly hamster. Since I already have everything I need, I was hoping you could stop all the wars and send all the soldiers home to see their families for Christmas. Also, could you help get world peace so people donít die in wars and can still see their families? Instead of coming to my house this year, could you do this for me? From, Clayton R.

Dear Santy Cwuas,

I donít need presents this year. I already have all I need. I have my bird, Tinker Bell, my dog, Daisy, my sister, Rebekah, my dad and mom, Randy and Tammy, and most of all my whole family.

Santy, what I want most is for the whole United States and Mexico to have all the homeless people to HAVE homes. I have gone to Kansas City and have seen so many people on the streets. When I saw that, I spoke to my Pastor at my church and got a food drive going in the church. And then sent all the food to Kansas City. So, please do all you can to help them this Christmas. From your adorable friend, Thomas B.

Dear Santa,

I donít want anything for Christmas.I already have all I need. Like my brothers who can sometimes be the most annoying people I know or the nicest. Iím thankful we found my dog, Shadow, on the side of the street and my parents let us keep him. Iím thankful for the food I eat and the water I drink. So donít stress over getting me presents; give presents to the people that need them. Since I already have everything I really need, I was hoping you could help the families who were affected by the recent natural disasters. If you could just get people to stop chopping down trees it would help. If people would stop chopping down trees, it would stop global warming, which would stop some natural disasters. So if you could help with that Iíd be happy on Christmas morning.

Sincerely, Heath H.

e world. Dear Santa,

Merry Christmas Santa! Iím so thankful for everything I have. Iím thankful for my amazing family, my outstanding friends, and my teachers and classmates. I hope everyone has an amazing Christmas. Thank you so much for everything you give to my friends and family. Santa, I donít need presents. All I need is to make everyone happy. Like could you give the bullies an amazing present so they would think better about themselves, and could you give school supplies to the girls in Afghanistan so they can learn. Could you please do this, the world will be a better place. Thank you so much for everything you do for me and everyone in the world. Sincerely, Trey B.

Dear Santa Claus,

Hey, old buddy old pal! How have you been? Iím doing good. So, as much as I love you bringing presents (because itís REALLY generous), I donít need anything this year. I have all I need here at home. I have a mom, a dad, and a sister. Not to mention food on the table and a roof over my head.

Since I donít need any presents, I was wondering if YOU could help ME. You see, there is a cause thatís dear to my heart, that I want some help taking care of. That cause is bullying. I hate bullying. As much as I kind of want all of the bullies to get coal or something, give them good things. A lot of kids bully because they are damaged on the inside. Give them something that might undo that damage. Donít put them on the naughty list when itís soooooooo hard for them to be nice. Help them change their ways. Thanks for being so helpful. Oh, and just FYI, I will ALWAYS believe in you Santa!!!!!!!!!

Love, Mia S.

Dear Santa,

It was really hard to figure what I want this year. So, Iíve decided that I donít need anything big like a pony, because Iím so thankful for what I already have. After all, I do have my loving family, my supportive friends, my wonderful church, and my blessed life. Isnít that all I need? But if you insist on dropping something off for me, you can make sure all of the children and families that may not be able to have a good Christmas can have a good Christmas. Thank you, Santa, for everything. Youíve been so good to me all of these years.

Like I said, Iím spoiled like crazy with toys. I like them all very much and I donít want to get rid of them to make room for more. So instead of toys, Iíd like the gift of world peace. War is stupid in my opinion. Our loved ones are losing their lives over silly things. Why is there war anyway? I donít know, but Santa, will you put an end to war? I know itís a lot to ask for, so if itís the only thing I get this Christmas, thatís okay. Thanks again, Santa! Your Biggest Fan, Maddy K.

Dear Santa,

I donít need any presents. In fact, I only asked for two. Iím more thankful for what I have, because, usually, I ask for one or two presents, but get, like, twenty presents. Please, I like what I already have. I have my parents and my computer. Those keep me alive! And my friends are also an important part in my life. When Iím bored at school or at home, I just talk to my friends and feel better. I have what I need. I have more than what I need! So, please, make presents for someone else. Iíve got all the things relevant for having a good time.

But thereís one thing you can do, SantaÖ common sense. There needs to be more common sense. I mean, if you accidentally put green beans in the wrong pot, take them out and put it in the other! Donít fight, then lead to something as bad as a divorce! How can tiny things, like a particle, turn into big things, like a planet! Like if someone says, "Ok, whereís my wallet!?" in a joking matter, you might forget about common sense and take it the wrong way! Then fight till one in the morning! No one sleeps and everyone is crying! My gosh! This world is in pieces! Tape it together with, like, planet tape or something, Jeez. Thanks for your help! Sincerely, Nathaniel L.

Dear Santa ,

I am thankful because, Santa, I have everything I need. Like my fun little sister and two other sisters that help me with my homework every day and my little brother who I can play with every day. I am most thankful for my mom and dad who go to work every day to get food on the table and pay the bills just for me. So just put me on the bad kid list or what you call it, and give gifts to the other kids. Santa can you also stop the military bombing and let them all go home? The kids will be happy that their moms or dads will be home. Most military will be gone during the holiday, but Christmas is the most fun holiday. So Santa, give kids the gift of their moms or dads.

Your friend Jalen C.

Dear Santa,

I donít really need anything this year. I have everything I need. I have my two sweet, but mean devils (sister and brother), my mom, dad and my pet dog. I also have food on my plate every day! But I donít need all the presents that your elves are making. So please skip my house and give my presents to the homeless people. When you get in your sleigh and give out presents, I want you to give Christmas gifts to all the little boys and girls whose families are suffering from not having a home and not having money to buy presents for their kids. The saddest part is, that dirty diapers were found in the area where these families live. That must mean babies were raised in that kind of environment. Twenty-two people out of every 10,000 people are homeless in America. So please, please, please give them the best Christmas they will ever have. Give them food, blankets, shoes, toys to play with, different clothes and homes. So will you please make my wish come true? Sincerely, Kyndal M.

Dear Santa,

I know youíre expecting me to write you a letter about all the things I want, "UHHH," but I really donít need anything this year. I already have everything I need. I have my loving family that cares, loves, and buys me stuff I need. Iím also healthy and thatís a big deal because if I was sick, I would be missing out on everything life has to give us. Iím also happy with my beautiful house. I am able to survive the long winters and HOT summers. And finally I have my really nice, caring friends and if I write everything else I got, this letter will NEVER end. Go on ahead to a family in need.

Ok, now that you know I really donít need anything...could you do me a favor and bring extra gifts to people and families in need? If youíve heard, people in the Philippines got hit by a typhoon and lots of people in Chicago got hit by 96 tornados! I know there are many, many more families in need, so this year could you give those families extra please? Could you give them a new house/apartment, fresh clothes, fresh food, fresh water, anything they REALLY need because theyíre not as lucky/happy as I am. So this Christmas instead of buying me an Xbox One or whatever, please give extra to those poor families. They need your help. PLEASE!!!!! Warmest hugs, Ariel A.

Dear Santa Claus,

This year I donít want anything, except for homeless/poor people to receive everything they have ever dreamed of getting for Christmas. I also want people to have a happy Christmas with no accidents or injuries. Whooooa, hold on, donít you know that Christmas isnít about presents? Here to help you understand...break down Christmas. Exactly CHRIST!!!!! Christmas is about when Christ was born!! For If it werenít for Him, you wouldnít be here right now. So just think about that when you are making a ten mile Christmas list!!!!! Saying, "All I want for Christmas is Ö."So remember that Christmas is Not about receiving, it is about GIVING!!!!! Santa, forget about me please... Iím begging you!!!! Give everything I have ever wanted to those who have nothing!! I worry about children and adults, out in the freezing cold with nothing. When they try to go to sleep at night, they wonder if they will live till the next morning. Children worry if there even is going to be Christmas for them or if they are ever going to find a meal. So Santa, please let them have everything they have always wanted. I repeat, donít get me anything!! But get them Everything! Let them have a Merry Christmas with a Happy New Year! And last, but not least, let their worries dissolve. Let them Not worry about the past, but be grateful for the future! So Merry Christmas, For the whole season!!!!! Faith M.

Dear Santa,

For Christmas I want absolutely...NOTHING! I already have almost everything in the world, so, I HAVE ENOUGH!!!! I am thankful for what I already have. I have a loving family, a warm bed and a roof over my head. Santa, skip my house and give to the less fortunate. Santa, actually I would like you to get me one thingÖPEACE. Stop the fighting! It is STUPID. I mean seriously, people are dying because they wantÖwait for itÖ MONEY! Yeah, you heard me right! Millions of people are dying,For... money, Santa, if you can you try to stop all the pointless deaths. Sincerely, Jackson S.

Dear Santa Claus,

I donít really need anything this year, I already have an amazing family, a house, and food to eat. So please donít stop by my house this year stop by someone who is in need, like someone who doesnít have any food. There are people all around the world starving and would do anything just to get one meal. these are the people that need your help so please, all Iím asking from you is to give those people a meal or them to eat

Sincerly, Aidan

Dear Santa,

I really donít need anything this year. Iím thankful for my supportive mom and dad. My mean big brother, my great and wise grandparents and my unbelievable uncles. I am thankful for all of this, so I donít need anything for Christmas. I have everything I need. Since I already have everything I need, I want my wish to go to animal abuse. Did you know that there are dog fights? Dog fights are like when a dog fights another dog. It is a cruel way to have dogs play with each other. It gets worse: the dogs workout in painful ways. They use a pole to strengthen their legs, arms, shoulders, and necks. They also have a dog collar that shocks a dog to death when it loses in a dogfight. After the dogfight is over, the dogs are bruised up and beaten up and bloody. So now you know what I want you to do this Christmas. Brandon

Like, could you give the bullies an amazing present so they would think better about themselves, and could you give school supplies to the girls in Afghanistan so they can learn? Could you please do this? The world will be a better place. Thank you so much for everything you do for me and everyone in the world. Sincerely, Trey B.

Dear Santa,

I really donít need ANYTHING this year; I have everything I need. Like my family, who are always there for me. My amazing friends who always make me laugh; I almost never stop. I have a roof over my head and food on my plate, but some kids donít have that. Santa, please donít give me any gifts this year. Give the gifts to the kids that donít have what I have. Santa, for some children, hunger is very, very real. Did you know that in Africa alone, 6 million children die of hunger every year? It is crazy, and very sad! I wouldnít have ever thought that between now and tomorrow, 40,000 children will starve to death. Donít you think these kids deserve something better? Santa, for Christmas, please help the children that are in need. Love, Jensen S

Dear Santa,

It seems like all people want these days are some type of electronics. Yeah, theyíre pretty cool to have, but? I think we should just be satisfied with what we have, not what we want. Of course you can enjoy things like technology or something as little as a piece of candy. But unlike candy, which melts away, family is always with you, physically and mentally. Iím very thankful for all of my family. My mom and dad, grandma and grandpa, aunts, uncles and all the way down to my cousins. Without them in my life, it would be like a childhood without jumping from pillow to pillow, trying to not touch the lava. I really love my brothers and sister. Even though sometimes they mess with me, and pick on me, they are still my family and I will always love them from the bottom of my heart. And you canít forget about those furry friends that paw their way into your life. I especially love my dog, Sweat-pea. To me, sheís just like family. We just have a unique type of relationship that is unbreakable. Without the way my family is today, I donít know if I would be the person I am today. So is it clear that I would prefer you didnít bring me anything for Christmas? I already have as much happiness as an eleven year old can need. Although I might have a favor you can do? Okay, you ready? So I donít know if you know but over 500,000 Americans are some type of fostered child. That means most of those people wake up on Christmas day and donít get to run down to a tree with their presents under it. I know when I was a little kid, if I woke up without any presents to pull out from under the tree, I would be torn. So I bet youíre probably thinking, Youíre still a kid, and so why donít you want presents? Thatís a good question, but after thinking about it I know someone else deserves presents just as much as me or anyone else. So please Santa, if you could can, please inspire anyone who can adopt a child, to do so. It could change someoneís life forever.

Love, Lillyan L.

A Christmas Miracle! Dear Santa,

There are many things I want this Christmas. I realized that when I write to you, all I do is ask for things. But this time I want to tell you all the things Iím thankful for. My family is a big part of what Iím thankful for. And mostly my sister, because she is always there for me and always will be a part of my life. Also, my pets, I have one cat named Cupcake and a dog named Molly. They are both great companions, especially when Iím scared or need someone to cry to. Lastly, I really am thankful for my friends, theyíre always there to pick me up and bring me happiness when Iím sad. What I really would enjoy this Christmas is what cannot be wrapped or put in a box. I want animals to be protected from cruelty. Animals are abused every day. In 2007, 1,880 animal cruelty cases were reported. How would you feel if you felt like no one loved you and you felt invisible, feeling like youíre buried 10,000 feet underground where nothing and no one can save you from your misery? Why do people do this? We will never know. I bet that many animals are having their hearts being broken at this second. So please Santa, help these animals have a better life, itís all I want this year. Sincerely, Olivia B.

Dear Santa,

Iíve looked at my life and Iíve realized I already have everything I need. Iím appreciative of the freedom that I get to work on my sports everyday, and I donít have to be told what to do. I donít know what I would do without freedom or sports. Iím also thankful for for being blessed with a father who loves me and cares for me. Having a father who loves and cares for me is the most important thing to me in my life. These two things mean the most to me in the world. Well I want one thing for Christmas, Santa. Can you keep people from killing each other? Itís so bad that 45 people get killed in a typical day, which means 17,034 people get killed a year. That makes me so sad that other people are ending other peopleís lives for nothing. Honestly thatís all I really want for Christmas. Please stop it. Sincerely, Jaden M.

Dear Santa,

I might want a lot of things but I donít need anything. I have so much: My friends that help me and make me laugh. Pets that teach how to take care of a living thing. The adults that help me to be the person I am today, like my parents. My dad is always trying to help me improve at school and takes me to shoot my bow and arrow. My mom that introduces me to new books. Without them I wouldnít be me. In parts of the world, things are needed. Like in some places, they have little or no water at all. Even if they do have water itís not always fresh. There are organizations everywhere helping. But there isnít enough. Please help these people first, before doing something not as important, like presents for the spoiled. -Cole W

Dear Santa,

I have so many wonderful things in my life that I am thankful for. This year, I donít need any more than I already have. I am so thankful for my family. My family makes me who I am today. If something were to happen to them, I donít know what I would do. And, you canít forget the furry friend! My dog is so special to me. He is so excited to see me everyday, it makes me feel so good when he licks my face after a long day at school. I canít tell you how thankful I am for school. I want to do big things in life, and school is helping me get there.

Since I have so many great things in my life, I was wondering if you could help me with a world problem. Animal abuse. Literally hundreds and hundreds of animals are left to die. These horrid people burn and shoot these animals. Sometimes they pour bad chemicals on their faces and put things around their necks. It saddens me to hear these things, but we have to face the truth. They donít go around torturing us, do they? So what I am asking for this year, is to put a stop to all their pain. I know It will be hard, but Santa, I really hope you can do this for me. Everyone deserves to live. -Isabel K.

Dear Santa,

I donít really need much this year because I have almost everything I need. I really do appreciate everything you do for me and other kids around the world. I appreciate that Iím not blind right at this very moment because of a dog attacking my cat, ("little bit of an issue I had"). Iím thankful for my 3 brothers and my 3 annoying big sisters because thereís always drama, football, and the times they fight that always make me laugh. Iím thankful for life itself because thereís always the question: What if there was no tomorrow?

You remember that part where I said, "I have almost everything I need?" Well that "almost" part comes in handy here. What I want for Christmas is Ö..a life where nobody cried, nobody died and most importantly nobody lied. I wish that all sins could be forgiven and everybody went to heaven. I ask this last thing of you. Is it in any way possible that you could stop people from bullying others and make everyone understand that pushing people off cloud nine is cruel and it just makes you feel worse, because in a way you are pushing yourself off cloud one. Sincerely, Taryn B.

Dear Santa,

I donít need anything this year. Iím thankful and lucky for everything that I have. Iím so very thankful for the knowledge of God, because without Him, nothing would be possible. Iím also thankful for my loving family. And I am so thankful for the athletic and academic ability that God has given me. Finally Iím thankful that I have clean drinkable water, fresh edible food, and a wonderful home.

Many people on this earth are hungry. But there are many other problems besides world hunger, there is war, bullying, drugs, alcohol, animal abuse, and many other problems that I canít think of. Santa I would like it if you could feed as many people as possible to end world hunger. If you can do something about war, please do, make this world peaceful. Lastly, I ask that you stop animal abuse. Help animals find a home where they can be loved, cared for, and fed.

Sincerely, Ben P.

Dear Santa,

There are so many cool things in the world. Do I wish I had some of them? Yes, but a question I ask myself so many times is, do I really need them? No, I donít, because I already have everything I need right now. My family. They are always there for me and always pick me up when I fall. They are a piece of me so if I ever lost them, my life would never be complete. Also, my friends. I can talk to them about anything and I can go to them when Iím sad. I am so thankful for all of the people in my life because they mean the world to me. Santa, why do horrible things have to happen in the world? I just donít understand. Could you please stop all of the bullying? I know that that seems hard, but everyday people are being put down. Thatís just not right. As time goes on, people wonít only be losing their self confidence, but they will be losing bits and pieces of their hearts. Soon, their hearts will drown in a pool of hurtful things, and thenÖ everything will be gone because, perhaps, that last bullyís comment made them give up. They were done with everything. All of the things that were said. All of the cuts and bruises. Some things are just so hurtful that they leave a scar. And you know what, Santa? Scars never heal. Sincerely, Taylor H.

Dear Santa,

I already have an amazing life, thereís not much to make it better. Some of the things Iím thankful for I havenít really thought about yet. So when I take the time to I found out a lot about myself. Iím thankful for a healthy family that never gives up on me; theyíre a lot of fun. Iím also thankful for the education you have given me and everyone else. I also love the time I get to play with friends. My imagination is wild and I love that it is unique, as is everyoneís. That is why I love the time I have right now. Also, I have found that the minimum wage of money has to go up because families donít have enough money to pay for food. I have found that most people that have minimum wage donít get enough food and are hungry. Also, Obama has got the right idea with the money. Although Obama is helping, the prices will have to higher. If you can help with that, it would be amazing to so many families. I know that this may just be another letter, but it matters to me, because if people donít do anything, families will die. I know if this gets to you and you can read it before Christmas, this would be the best gift of them all. All that I could ask for is that families get enough money and food. This would be amazing for me and other families. Sincerely, Tanner A.

Dear Santa,

Iíve looked at my life and I have realized I already have everything I need. Here are some things I am thankful forÖ. I love that I have a family that loves me and gives me support. Iím also thankful for all of my friends because theyíre always there for me and have my back. Last Iím thankful for technology. I love technology because I get education and get to discover lots of things I didnít know. And thatís just the beginning. Also Santa, can you help stop world hunger, deaths, littering, and value? etc. World hunger causes death. Thinking that you have no value also causes death. Last, littering. Littering causes death, too. You think that just one piece wonít do anything? Well, that one piece of trash could be the reason that lots of animals are dying. Please Santa, help. I have hope. Sincerely, Zachary B.

Dear Santa,

Thereís really not a lot I need this year. Iím getting my own bedroom, because my dad is moving out of his apartment. Itís been awhile since heís lived in a house. I can tell heís really excited. I am pretty sure we move in Saturday, December 14th. I canít wait! SANTA PLEASE READ THIS!!! Why do people kill each other? What are the benefits of killing someone? Santa, did you know people in America murder the most people per year! Would you please use your Christmas magic and make sure there are ZERO murders this year! If you could do that, I would be so happy!

Thank You, Cooper H.

Dear Santa,

Iím sure you get lots of letters about what kids want for Christmas. But I donít need toys to be happy. Sometimes itís hard to see what really matters in life, especially around this time of year. There are presents in life that we donít see. Rose and Trix are a special part of our family. My dogs would have never been a part of our family, since my mom never wanted one in the first place. She didnít realize how much my dad wanted one. In the end we got two! When my mom gave the news about getting a dog, it wasnít all happy, because that very day, my siblings and I found out that Aunt Gal had breast cancer. It was a big deal because Aunt Susan died of it. She was 20 and I didnít even meet her when I was a baby! The news is much happier for Aunt Gal. I am, however, at more risk of getting cancer when I get older. A cure for breast cancer would be an invisible gift. Any kind of cancer is a curse. The only way to solve a curse is a miracle. I need a miracle from you, Santa. If you canít cure all the cancers in the world, can you think about one? Breast cancer is a big deal to me. My Christmas wish for people to not die too early, even though they would go to heaven. But it canít come true without you. Imagine what will happen if breast cancer was taken away. How many lives will be saved? How big of a miracle will it be?

Thank you, Laura R.

Dear Santa,

I donít have a lot of things I want for Christmas but, happiness. Every year I see people rushing to get their kids presents. They forget about the true meaning of Christmas. Look around you, you probably have family that comes to visit you. As I heard a man say in a movie,®Youíre doing Christmas all wrong. Every year, I hear people say that they canít wait for Christmas to end. For me, the happiest day is waking up Christmas morning and having fun with family, because some people donít have families. The saddest day for me is December 26th." I personally love Christmas. Open your eyes, if you donít get presents, so what. You have a birthday, even probably your own money. I have one thing to say: Christmas always sneaks up on people. Everybody seems nicer. Sales always gets into peopleís minds, but not as much as money. Please donít get tempted because I have seen it happen before. You have to be the change you want to see in the world. Love and peace for me. I donít know why people abandon family? I just want to ask you Santa, if you would be able help the poor people to feel better about themselves. If you can work miracles, like fitting down the chimney, could you fix one thing on my Christmas listÖ world hunger. We have some money and when someone asks somebody else for money, we blow them off. Nobody cares, but I think about if theyíre living in a shelter. I just donít understand, because Iím still young. Just to catch you off guard, Iím kissing up to you to make sure weíre good. You rock! I donít think I want presents next year. So Iím not going to right a christmas list like other kids. Itís not even funny. Just focus on the true meaning of christmas.

On the nice list, Fondly, Vincent K.

Dear Santa,

You have already helped plenty, so I only want one thing this year. I only want one thing and this is why. I already have a dog named Shadow that we got off the side of the road as a puppy. I also have five brothers and when they make fun of me I know theyíre joking. I have parents that care for me and have a healthy marriage. I always have plenty of food to eat.

But the one thing I really do want is a cure for cancer. One in every three people get cancer in their life time. And my mom is one of those. She has skin cancer, so doctors have been collecting skin cancer for research. So if you could do that for me, I would be forever thankful.

Sincerely, Hudson H.

Dear Santa,

I am thankful for lots of things I have. Im not asking for much. I am thankful for my dog, my family, my friends, and my familyís time and money so we can do lots of fun stuff. I have got a lot what iíve asked for the last couple years. If you can, please help stop war. Many people die in war. About 60 million people died in World War II, alone. I still want some things for Christmas though. Like a dog at my moms, Grand Theft Auto 5, some fish at my dads, surprises, and money.

Sincerly, Cooper V.

Dear Santa,

Iíve looked at my life and Iíve realized I already have everything I need. I know this because Iíve looked at my life and I see all the amazing things. For example, my education. There are many countries where going to school is very difficult; we often take school for granted when others would do anything to go to school. On the news, I see people such as the Philippines who have had their families taken from them because of the typhoon. Things like this make me feel extra thankful that I live in a good place and that my great family is here today. I appreciate that Iím here today, alive and well. I believe these are the true things we need in life. Something else I would like to address, since I have everything I need, is suicide. About 30,000 people die from committing suicide each year in the U.S. Santa, could you let these people know that there is a reason to continue living? This is the only thing I want this year. Too many people die because they believe theyíre not worth it. Lots of people could be saved if you helped. Sincerely, Ethan L.

Dear Santa,

I am so grateful for my life. I have everything I need. I have the best bedroom, the cutest dog, the greatest friends and my parents. My parents! I love them so much. All they want is for me to be happy. I love my parents because their hearts are so big! Theyíre so big that they are willing to bring more children into our home. My family and I are doing something called Foster-to-Adopt. Foster-to-Adopt is where you have the option to take a child into your home. After a few months, if the biological parents arenít able to take the child back, (which they have the option and the right to do if they fix the situation), then we have the option to adopt the child.

Because I donít need much for Christmas, I want to ask you, Santa, to do something for someone else. Could you bring a child that is in a bad situation into a good situation and a good home? Also could you get more people to open their hearts and want to foster? I know youíre not a miracle worker and that youíre a deliverer, but this could be the gift you deliver to me. Love, Macy M.

Dear Santa,

Since I already have everything I really need, I am hoping you donít give me anything. Okay, maybe a couple of things. But letís talk about what I already have. I have a wonderfully nice mom and dad. I have three loving sisters. I love my sisters. Some people think that three isnít that much, but when you have two younger sisters who are five and eleven months and another who is fifteen, it gets a little crazy. Especially when you are the only boy. Even though we fight a lot, we still love each other. I am so lucky to have a family like them.

Okay. Now letís talk about some serious stuff that everyone needs. They need to bump up that minimum wage! It is only $7.25 per hour. I would say it needs to go up too at least $10.00. I think that what people all over the nation want is too much! $15.00 dollars is way too much. Think about it for a second. If you get $15.00 dollars an hour, then that business will have to put up their prices a bit and then everyone will be mad! It is just plain stupid! Now everyone is fighting about this. Please fix this, Santa. That would be the best gift I can think of. Love, Cooper D. H.

Dear Santa,

Life is a puzzle. I have looked around and realized that I have all of the pieces I need. Iím thankful for life in general. We were put on this crazy planet to worship God and share his word, which could change others lives. I appreciate my family because they love me and show me what life is really about. I LOVE my big sister. Since she is in the army, she lets me know how important it is to sacrifice and care for others. My friends may be weirdos, but they lift me back up and they give me company. OH! I almost forgot one of my best companions, my dog, Bailey. She makes me feel good after a long day. I am glad that I have freedom. It is awesome that we live in a country where we can make our own decisions and live our own lives. My life also includes the magical sport I play, SOCCER. I love it because it entertains me. Last, but not least, I am thankful for education. I enjoy learning knowledge that will help me later in life. School lets my personality shine. As you can see, I am very appreciative. The cure. Every kid out of the 35,000 being treated for cancer has hope for this. Even though I donít have cancer, all I want is a cure for Christmas. Each day, over 25 kids are diagnosed with cancer in America. This is like an entire classroom of children! That could easily be me, or my friends and family. That would affect me. Mr. Claus, I am making a wish that I hope you can make come true, as a gift. Speaking of making wishes come true, the Make-A-Wish Foundation is helping kids all over the world with illnesses find happiness. What they do is incredible and changes kids lives everyday by giving them special gifts or taking them to places every kid dreams about. It lets the kids enjoy their lives and forget the deadly disease that might easily overcome their bodies. Sometimes, the illness kills them. 25% of children who are diagnosed, die and their loveable souls leaves our cruel world. What I am asking for is a miracle. Please reduce those numbers and percentages and help those kids and their families. I bet, just like me, their most prized wish for Christmas is the cure for cancer. These kids could use a cure, this world could use a cure. Make the cure. Santa, find the cure.

Love, Madison

Dear Santa,

Well Santa, today Iím not going to tell you what I want for Christmas. Iím going to tell you what I have already. I really have everything I need. But the thing Iím most thankful for is that in the United States, we at least have the free right to be who we want to be. To even have fresh water to drink and clean food to eat. My cousin is just a teen, but he has a job for the National Guard. We donít see him a lot, but we know that he is serving our country with pride and joy in his heart. I am the MOST thankful that we have a God in Heaven that we can share His word to the people of the world. Have you ever had or adopted a foster child? Do you know why foster children are called fosters? Well, either when they were little or recently, they have been abused, hurt by their own parents, or even worse things. I know my parents would never treat me badly like those parents have done. I feel very sorry for children who have bad parents like those children. Santa, one of my friends is going to Foster-to-Adopt. They are a very nice and thoughtful family. So please help the ones who are alone.

Love, Rachel W.

Dear Santa,

I thank you, Santa, for what you have given me for Christmas like, shoes, shelter, and clothes, friends, and family. This Christmas I want nothing at all, well, not really, I still want something. This Christmas, Santa, I want something different, probably something you have never given anyone. NOT shoes, NOT toys, and NOT clothes. If you must know, read this.

This year I would love it if you could STOP people from bullying others. When you are doing this wish, I want you to think of the kids that are being bullied. If you could stop bullying, we would not have suicide, school shootings, and fights. Now I know it would take some time for you to get to every kidís house, especially the ones on the naughty list. But if you could really find a way to tell those bullies to STOP bullying, it would be the BEST gift ever.

Sincerely, Corey T.

Dear Santa,

I really donít need anything this year. Iím just thankful for the great things I have now. But the one thing Iím really thankful for is food on my table. Many families around the world donít get food every day, some donít even have a home or shelter to live in. Some families might just live on the streets. But I am so thankful i have food on my table. Since I donít really need anything this year, I was wondering if you could end world hunger. Every day I go places and I always feel bad and wonder to myself how could I end this? So this year, for my Christmas present, all I want is to end hunger. Sincerely, Harrison T.

Dear Santa,

I really donít need anything this year. I have my family and thatís all I need. The real meaning of Christmas is to celebrate Jesusí birthday anyways! Itís just fun to give and get presents. I hope that someday people will understand the real meaning of Christmas. Santa, I am really worried about all the wars in this world. I think we should just be able to all get along with each other. Itís only fair to send home all of our veterans so they can see their families. I mean just for once! I hope in the future we will have world peace. :) Merry Christmas, Gracie.S.

Dear GOD\ JESUS,

I wanna thank you for all youíve done for me. Thank you for keeping me in good health. You have brought me a long way, too far for me to stop now. I have way too many presents. My family, friends, and teachers, theyíre all family, and are my greatest present! Since I have everything I need, I need you to please help people cure cancer. I hate it when people get sick and die of cancer. God, please answer my prayers.

Sincerely, Frank W.

Dear Santa,

I really donít need much this year, and thereís a good reason why. My school is doing this thing where they collect a lot of food and the reason is because some people canít have as much food as others. I am super thankful that I am able to buy food and be healthy. I am also thankful that I have loving parents and a nice twin. I have a roof over my head and food on the table and thatís a BIG thing to be thankful for.

Santa, could you please give extra presents to the poor? It really hurts me to know that there are millions of people in the world that donít have much of a Christmas. These poor people donít just want lousy presents. They want food, clothing, coats, and a warm place to sleep. Maybe you should get some of those things for them instead of me.

Sincerely, Marissa R. :)

Dear Santa,

I really donít want anything for Christmas this year. Iím just thankful for the education I have. Because of it, I will get smarter every year, and the more the years pass I have more and more friends than ever. I am also thankful for my family and what they do for me. They always come through for me. For example when my doll was broken, my uncle fixed it for me . I love art. It is my favorite thing to do. It helps soothe my emotions, and all of it looks beautiful (at least thatís what my parents say). So itís clear that I have everything I need to be happy. But I was worried about something else. Animal abuse is the worst thing possible for an animal. People take pets for granted, itís just like being a bully, only the pet thatís being bullied canít do anything about it and has to suffer. My aunt has a dog and me and my cousins were playing around with her. They were getting too rough with her, and the next weekend I found out the dog was hurt so bad she couldnít move for 2 days. I just hope good people will take care of animals that have had bad owners before. Your Friend, Jordan K.

Dear Santa,

I already have everything I need. Like my family, they are the ones who provide everything for me. Also Iím thankful that I have a lot of friends. Mostly because we always do fun stuff together. The only thing I really want for Christmas is for animal abuse to stop. I really want animal abuse to stop. Why do people hurt the animals? Hundreds of animals are abused all the time. Some people even hurt baby animals! So, please if you could give me anything it would be for animal abuse to stop. Sincerely, Sierra L.

Dear Santa,

Thereís not a lot I want for Christmas. I shouldnít ask for anything really. I mean, what should I ask for? I have more than I could ever imagine. Well, I changed my mind. I DO want a present. I want you to get me a bunch of presents! Then give them to the kids who really need them. I myself donít want anything. What more do I need!? I have my Xbox, my house, my family, my health, and my life. Santa, have you ever struggled to find a house or maybe some money? If you have, what was it like? I am thankful that I have warmth, clothing, and food. Millions of people in the world have nowhere to sleep at night. When the cold winters hit, they donít even have coats or jackets because they canít afford them. Please do me a favor and give all of my presents to them. Sincerely, Julia H

Dear Santa,

I really donít need anything for Christmas this year. I already have so many things. I have my dog, who is silly and crazy and is very loveable, sweet and kind. She always tries to lick my face! There are also the four horses that live near me named Flash, Sissy, Nugget and Tess. They are very kind and sweet and they let me pet them and make me feel happy. Since I already have so much, I was wondering if you could help in a different way. It would be great if you could help with animal abuse. Hundreds of animals are abandoned every day and some donít live until their first birthday. Also horses are often mistreated and abused; some are used to smuggle things out of different countries by drug dealers. Could you please help the poor animals? Sincerely, Grace S.

Dear Santa,

I really donít need anything for Christmas this year. I already have a family that loves and cares for me. Thatís all that a person could ever need. My family provides everything for me. I have a home and food on my plate. The true meaning of Christmas is not to get, but to give. I wish that everybody would give to people who donít have as much as I do.

So all that I really want for Christmas this year is for people to have homes and food. Santa, I know that you canít do it yourself, so I encourage everyone to help you. I canít imagine my life without a wonderful Christmas. But unfortunately, there are people who will never know this wonderful feeling. So Santa will you please grant my Christmas wishes?

Sincerely, Evie M.

Dear Santa,

I really donít need much for Christmas, because I have looked at my life and thought other people donít have as much as I do, so they should get more, so they can feel as happy as I do. I am thankful for my family and three cats; Jinks, Saber and Starlight. My cats and family mean more to me than anything in the world, I would do anything for them. The reason I am thankful for my family is they encourage me to follow my dreams in Robotics and anything else I want to do.

Since I have everything I really need, I was hoping you would work on world hunger, by giving the homeless and other families food for Christmas that need it more than I do. I would really love it if you could reduce the number of homeless this year by giving them hope to push themselves forward. I would like it if you would give thought about what I have said in this letter. Sincerely, Anthony T.

Dear Santa,

I donít need presents this year, Iíve got my family. Iíve got a very special family, I think my family is the best. I was adopted. GOD brought me into this family. My mom was still very lovingÖwe just had some problems. How Ďbout you? What was your family like, Santa? I think everybody deserves a home, a roof over their heads, a bed to sleep in. There are millions of people who donít have jobs or sleep on the streets. I think everybody can help with that. I mean, you have a home right, Santa? Iíve got something to ask, can you use the presents you were going to make for me and give them to the poor and homeless? Thanks, please consider my question. Sincerly, Colin S.

Dear Santa ,

I donít need much this year. I already have a lot of things. Things I appreciate are my family, pets, my friends, and things I already have. Let me tell you about my pets. I have two German Shepherds; they are super sweet, soft, and cozy. They are very protective. As you can see, I have a lot in my life. Since I have so much I prefer you give pres
