SCA Boys Varsity Basketball Team Makes Top 25 List

January 11, 2014

The Summit Christian Academy (SCA) boys varsity basketball team has been named to Sports Radio 810 WHB’s top 25 teams for the Kansas City metro area, cracking the list at #25. Also named on the list were Lee’s Summit West High School (ranked #2) and Lee’s Summit High School (ranked #12).

"We are pleased to make the list of this year’s most competitive teams," said SCA Athletic Director and Varsity Basketball Head Coach Jakes Kates. "We’re off to a terrific start to our season with a 6-0 record. We’ll continue to work hard and to stay the course, all the way to the championship."

The SCA varsity basketball program is in MSHSAA Class 3, and one of only two schools its size to make the list.
