Summit Christian Academy (SCA) is pleased to announce that several SCA elementary students were recently recognized for poems they authored as part of a unit study on poetry last April. The students’ poems and creative writings were entered into a poetry contest and were published in the book Discovered.

"I love to help students grow in their appreciation of poetry and to express their creative side," said SCA Elementary Librarian Alethea Beasley. "Our unit study concluded with students drafting and sharing their poetry during the Poetry Café. I’m very proud of them for their dedication to excellence."
