Lee's Summit Whoville huge success Saturday, November 7

Stacy Brandt and Paul Banister aka The Grinch took a small break from the big crowd of kids who came to Whoville on Saturday November 7.  Brandt is one great worker.  She has given her time and talent in so many was to make good things happen for the Main Street organization.

Whoville was located in the Vogue Retail space at 315 SE Douglas.  Kids got to color thanks to some neat coloring pages furnished by the Lee’s Summit Tribune. They also got tasty cookies and creamy hot chocolate. The cookies were courtesy of Henry’s Tea Room and the hot chocolate was donated by the Whistle Stop.

The Downtown Main Street Promotions Committee organized Whoville. Shannon Fossnight whose husband Brett was also the Grinch, Brandt, Sara and Aaron Shore are just a few of the folks who made Whoville happen. Hundreds of cookies were gobbled up and gallons of hot chocolate were consumed. The kids had a ball!  Girls Scouts lined the streets singing Christmas carols and warmed the hearts of all.
