Solar Powered Party in Lee’s Summit

June 16, 2012

Gary and Trish Walker

Energized by the power of green initiatives, Magic Touch Cleaning, Inc. is celebrating 20 years in business along with an announcement of their next steps in commitment to green living at a solar powered “Flip the Switch Party” on Thursday, June 21, 3:30 to 5:30 pm at 1260 NE Sloan Street, Lee’s Summit, MO.  Complete with organic wine, local beer, great food and live music, this open to the public Flip the Switch Party will kick-off with a green ribbon cutting to celebrate a solar panel expansion in the building in Lee’s Summit.

Gary and Trish Walker, The King and Queen of Green (KOG & QOG), owners of Magic Touch Cleaning, Inc. and Bullseye International, Inc., aligned with like-minded partners of Lee & Associates Kansas City and Kevin Good of Good Energy Solutions to reduce the carbon footprint of the Walkers’ businesses.  When Gary approached Lee & Associates, owners of the building where Magic Touch Cleaning, Inc. and Bullseye International, Inc. are located, and explained the impact solar panels would have on energy bills, the decision to install solar panels was an easy one. The over $80,000.00 building improvement in solar panels will pay for itself in a just a few years. As one of the first to start the wave of solar panels in Lee’s Summit, the ripple effect has begun as other building owners in the area are inquiring about green possibilities for their own building properties.

The Walkers are intent in their message for people to live green and to reduce the carbon footprint wherever and whenever they are able. During the party Gary Walker (KOG) will explain the exciting next steps Magic Touch Cleaning, Inc. and Bullseye International, Inc., and he and his wife and partner, Trish, will be taking to continue their commitment to green cleaning and living. Kevin Good of Good Energy Systems will have solar panels on display and discuss the benefits of solar energy at the celebration.

This is a public event, but an R.S.V.P. is appreciated - erika@magictouchcleaning.net or call 816-554-3366.
