Splash and Go Express Car Wash Opens In Lee’s Summit
State-of-the-art equipment highlights newest area car-washing option

LEE’S SUMMIT- February 17, 2010- The newest option for washing your car in Lee’s Summit has opened its doors.  Blending the benefits of technology and the intimacy of quality customer service, Splash and Go Express Car Wash, 100 SW Raintree Plaza Dr., aims to give customers a quality car wash at a fair price in an efficient amount of time.  The locally-owned wash offers four types of exterior car wash packages, complimentary vacuums and reloadable wash cards for customer convenience.

Technology greets you at the car door at Splash and Go.  As customers enter, drive-up, touch screen kiosks display and receive payment for wash options that suit their cleaning needs and their budget.  A virtual receipt displays on the screen to ensure the customer has selected the desired wash package and the total cost for services.  Kiosks accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express credit cards, Splash and Go Wash Cards and cash payments.  The touch screen machines integrate audio and video to assist in the purchasing experience.

Car wash packages as low as $5 can get a car into the wash tunnel where the technology continues.  As attendants prepare a car to enter the wash, customers can verify that their chosen wash package corresponds with a flashing LED sign.  Customers remain in their car while a conveyor guides their vehicle through each stage of the wash.  Precisely-timed equipment turns on/off as each car enters/exits each stage, to reduce power usage and wastewater.  Splash and Go is equipped with a wastewater recycling unit that continuously filters, cleans and recycles more than 80 percent of the water used in the wash cycle.

In the heart of the tunnel, computer-operated compressed air and hydraulic pumps control movement of spray nozzles and brushes.  High-pressure spray knocks off large debris and dirt from vehicle bodies, wheels and tires.  Then, each car is foamed and flanked by pressure-sensitive, rotating brushes to scrub the vehicle from top to bottom.  The rinse stage follows that uses water filtered through reverse osmosis, leaving each car spot-free, headed for the drying station, the final stage.

Customers can purchase discounted Splash and Go wash cards and join the e-mail group at: www.splashandgocarwash.com and stay in contact on Facebook.
