Structure fire at 3631 NW Blue Jacket Drive, Lee's Summit

On Sunday, July 04, 2010, at 9:10 p.m., the Lee’s Summit Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 3631 NW Blue Jacket Drive. Several neighbors called 911 to report a fire on the roof.
When the fire department arrived, a small fire was burning on the back roof of a one–story, single family residence. The occupant was out of the building.
Firefighters made access to the roof and extinguished the fire before it could get into the attic or living area of the home. The fire was out by 9:56 p.m..
Fire damage was limited to a small area of the roof. The cause of the fire is undetermined.
