Suessical the Musical Jr. Summer Camp and Performance Cancelled

June 14, 2014

The Summit Theater Group and Paradise Park regret to announce that Seussical The Musical Jr Summer Camp which was to be held June 15- 28 at Paradise Park, and the subsequent production of Suessical The Musical Jr . which was to run June 26-28 have both been cancelled.

Unfortunately, the enrollment numbers for the camp were lower than expected.  Since the entire cast of the performance was to be derived from the campers, it will not be possible to move forward with the production.

We understand that summers are a very busy time for families and activities. We apologize for any inconvenience to campers, theatre patrons and the community.

Summit Theatre Group season ticket holders will be notified of alternative arrangements for their tickets.  Those who have already purchased single performance tickets to Suessical The Musical Jr. may exchange them for tickets to the upcoming STG performances of Godspell or All My Sons.

Godspell will be performed August 7-10th at the Lee’s Summit Christian Church.  All My Sons will be performed in September at the MCC Cultural Arts Center.
