Summit Theatre Group Celebrates The Academy Awards At The Emaline Ballroom

Summit Theatre Group Celebrates The Academy Awards At The Emaline Ballroom

Join Summit Theatre Group Sunday evening, March 2nd at the Emaline Ballroom as they celebrate all things Oscar on Hollywood’s biggest night. Walk the red carpet and enjoy an evening of delicious food and drink while watching the 86th Annual Academy Awards. In addition to a live broadcast viewing of the Academy Awards there will be balloting, trivia, socializing and hors d’oeuvres provided by Outback Steakhouse. A cash bar will be available.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased in advance at either Lee’s Summit Hy-Vee location, online at www.summittheatregroup.com or by calling STG at 816-463-2654. Tickets can also be purchased at the door the night of the event. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The Emaline Ballroom is located at 616 SW 3rd Street, Lee’s Summit, MO. Formal dress is optional.

This 2014 show season for Summit Theatre Group officially kicks off in late March with Boeing Boeing, which runs March 28-29, and April 4-6. Other shows in the 2014 season include Suessical Jr., Godspell, All My Sons and Gifts of the Magi.

About the Summit Theatre Group: Desiring to see a local theatre group in Lee’s Summit after a ten year hiatus, a diverse group of professionals joined together to bring theatre back to their community. Summit Theatre Group’s first season included three full productions in 2012. The community has responded with enthusiasm and support as both audiences and participants.
