Suspect Charged in Lee's Summit Police Officer Involved Shooting

Ash-Od L. Chavez

On Friday, Jackson County Prosecutors charged Ash-Od L. Chavez a 17 year old male from Kansas City, MO in connection with the overnight incident in the 500 block of NE Howard.  Chavez was charged with 1st Degree Assault on a law enforcement officer and Armed Criminal Action.  The defendant is being held without bond.
