The Big Bang: Jackson County’s 4th Of July Celebration

June 28, 2014

Jackson County's Big Bang will be Friday, July 4, 2014. Gates Open at 5:30 p.m. at Longview Lake Shelter #13

This free event will feature: live music with rising country stars Backroad Anthem, parachutists with Skydive KC, concessions for purchase, carnival games and inflatables for purchase, a Salute to our veterans and active duty military, and the largest fireworks finale in the Midwest simulcast on 94.9 KCMO-FM.

Jackson County will be continuing the Stand Down donation drive to assist homeless veterans at the Big Bang celebration July 4 at Longview Lake. Come out for the celebration and help those who've defended the nation, but are now homeless. Donation items needed include tubes of toothpaste, deodorant and shaving cream.

Look for the Stand Down tent near the stage at the Big Bang Fourth of July Celebration on Friday, July 4.
