On Saturday, October 6, The Wireless Zone at Woods Chapel and Ralph Powell will be hosting its annual Give Back Day. On this day, 10% of every purchase will be donated to the Guardians of the Ribbon. This organization consists of firefighters and citizens that drive pink fire trucks to raise awareness and support women battling cancer.
“It’s part of our values as a company. We want to provide honest pricing. We want to give back to the community,” Wireless Zone owner, Vicky Sneed said.
Each year a different charity is chosen. Vicky, who has some close friends battling cancer, chose the Guardians of the Ribbon.
The pink fire engine will be in front of the store from noon till two that day. T-shirts and root beer floats will be available. There will also be a drawing for a 42 inch HD TV.
“This is a customer appreciation event as well as our community Give Back Event,” Sneed said.
