Here we go again; Jacob Turk is always the bridesmaid and never the bride. He cannot win in the fifth district and should not. For that matter, every Republi-CON in Washington D.C. and Jefferson City should be given a pink slip next November. They have done nothing productive, they have been obstructionists and, in Missouri, all of them have records to run from. When people learn of what the Republicans have done in Jefferson City, they should decide to vote them all out of office. Jacob Turk is the Bob Gough of those running for federal office. He is a perpetual loser just like Gough who has run for office here and in California and has never won a single race.

Thank goodness Mr. Turk is once again willing to put his life on hold, roll up his sleeves, and work toward making a positive change in the Kansas City Metro area!
The 2010 run came within 9 points of ousting Cleaver, who desperately needs to be relieved of his duties in DC. Jacob Turk is the solid pro-life, pro-growth candidate we need representing our area in the future and I'm proud to support him with my contributions and prayers.

My first post must have gotten lost.
I'm glad to see that Mr. Turk is rolling up his sleeves once again in an effort to help get the people of the 5th district decent representation in DC. I'm hoping that all other conservatives, Repubs, libertarians, independents and...dare I say it? Democrats who recognize that true, POSITIVE, pro-growth change can only happen if Congress is cleaned out.
Thank you, Jacob Turk, for continuing the fight. We need more like you.

E. Cleaver just today voted against his constituency - ESPECIALLY against his newest constituency - and in lock-step behind the Democrat party in voting against H.R. 10 and H.R. 1633. The measures passed because the rest of the county has a brain and they use it. Jacob Turk shows he's a Marine, never giving up on his country and he's NOT in lock step with anyone but his constituency, thank God.

It's heartening to see an ethical Statesman in the running.

I am glad to see Jacob Turk running again. He is a man of integrity and clings to the constitution-something lacking in government today. Jacob really cares about this community and is always reaching out to people because he is a good man. I have had the privilege of getting to know him since the last election and he is such a warm person who really cares about the people. I have reached out to Cleaver's office in the past on issues and I laways feel like his office staff placate me and tell me what I want to hear and then Cleaver votes with his party anyway. Knowing Mr. Turk, I know he would never be like that. For him, integrity comes first. I will be supporting him with my time and finances as well because I really believe in him. I think he has all the qualities needed to be a good congressman, the people in this district just need to give him a chance to shine.

Jacob Turk is a man of integrity. The 5th district has not had that kind of representation in years. I will never forget being yelled at by Mr Cleaver at a "Coffee with Cleaver". It was surreal. He was yelling that his wife needed health care and voted for it despite the fact that most of his constituents were against it. Mr Turk treats everyone with respect. He would be a welcome change.

Jacob Turk is a refreshing candidate, NOT a career politician embedded in the tangles of Jefferson City, which is precisely why he should and will win the 5th District in 2012. Kansas City and Washington require genuine change, and Turk's emphasis on fiscal responsibility is of critical importance. 2012 is going to be exciting, but 2013 - after Turk takes office - will be rewarding.

We need a Marine in Congress who will do what's right even when it's hard instead of pushovers like Cleaver who just follow the Democratic party line - Cleaver has voted 100% with Pelosi and Obama - we need an independent thinker like Jacob Turk voting for the people and what THEY want from their government.
