University Of Kansas Announces Spring 2014 Candidates For Degree

The names of nearly 4,450 candidates for degree from the University of Kansas this spring - representing 88 Kansas counties, 45 other states and and 41 other countries - have been announced by the University Registrar.

KU's 142nd Commencement will be Sunday, May 18. More than half of the members of the Class of 2014 are expected to participate.
Faculty and candidates for degrees will assemble at 10 a.m. along Memorial Drive for the procession, which begins at 10:30 a.m.

Area students are as follows:
Megan Maples, of Lee Summit. Maples will receive a Bachelor of Science in Education.
Hailey Baker, of Lee's Summit. Baker will receive a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology.
Adam Cederburg, of Lee'S Summit. Cederburg will receive a Bachelor of General Studies in Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Jordan Dauer, of Lee's Summit. Dauer will receive a Master of Accounting.
Alec Hall, of Lee'S Summit. Hall will receive a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management and minor in Business.
Cassidy Hatchette, of Lee'S Summit. Hatchette will receive a Bachelor of General Studies in Film and Media Studies and minor in English.
John Herrman, of Lee's Summit. Herrman will receive a Master of Science in Engineering Management.
Darrenea Jones, of Lee'S Summit. Jones will receive a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management.
John Reynolds, of Lee'S Summit. Reynolds will receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design.
Kristi Boone, of Lees Summit. Boone will receive a Bachelor of General Studies in English and Bachelor of General Studies in Religious Studies.
Sarah Hernandez, of Lees Summit. Hernandez will receive a Master of Social Work.
Benjamin Kaplan, of Lees Summit. Kaplan will receive a Bachelor of Science in Business in Finance.
Jennifer Kelley, of Lees Summit. Kelley will receive a Master of Science in Education.
Chase Weber, of Lees Summit. Weber will receive a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Lawrence Flanagan, of Raymore. Flanagan will receive a Bachelor of Science in Business in Finance.
Christina Ivers, of Raymore. Ivers will receive a Master of Arts in Spanish.
Robert Stigler Jr, of Raymore. Stigler Jr will receive a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Studies.
