Update ~ World Acrobatic Gymnastics in Wroclaw, Poland Day 3

The Lee's Summit / Blue Springs Girls Pair (11-16) consisting of Mariah Cockshell and Kennedy Swanson placed 6th in the World.
Monday, July 12 concluded the Age Group Finals at the Arobatic Gymnastics World Championships. The Lee's Summit/Blue Springs Girls Pair (11-16) consisting of Mariah Cockshell and Kennedy Swanson placed 6th with a score of 26.65. Going into the Finals as the 8th place Pair, the girls were at a disadvantage as the first pair to perform. But, with their consistently competitive spirit they proved their right to compete in an International forum moving ahead of Czechoslovakia and the local favorite Poland pairs. The Gold medal was won by Russia, the Silver by Great Britain and the Bronze by Belarus.
