The Lee’s Summit Police Department has concluded its investigation into the death of 13 month old Heath Hubbard. The case was presented to the Jackson County Prosecutor’s office for review. Upon review of the case, they have concluded that no charges will be filed in the matter.
Sgt. Depue has stated that he does not have the information regarding what was used by the Prosecutor's office to make this decision.
The loss of her child and living with knowing her mistake caused this, is something she will have to live with the rest of her life. I feel bad for this family. We never know what tomorrow will bring. She didnt do it intentionally, it was a horrible mistake.
