What I REID Into It Week ~ Indianapolis Colts

What I REID Into It Week ~ Indianapolis Colts

December 20, 2013

There was a time when many a KC Chiefs fan would have loved to see Quarterback Andrew Luck in a Chiefs uniform. Well this Sunday many Chiefs fans will get to see him play in person but while wearing a blue jersey.

Luck is now the franchise quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts and has already led them to a playoff berth this season.

In fact the Colts come to KC with not only a 9-5 record but an AFC South Division championship in hand. The Colts have been good enough in 2013 in games to be called "Impressive" and bad enough in losses to leave their fan base "Dumbfounded".

A pair of those losses were a 40-11 setback to Arizona and a 38-8 loss at home to St. Louis. Many NFL followers feel the Colts have had an easy road to their success this season playing division games against teams at 5-9 or worse on the year. Many NFL followers feel the Chiefs have had an easy road this year due to playing teams without their star quarterback.

This Sunday’s game will be played outside in a chilly forecast game time temperature of just 26 degrees. The Colts are used to playing in a stadium with a rolling roof and indoor comforts should they want it.

The Chiefs defense has caused chaos in two straight wins and will continue that strong play against Luck a Star Quarterback. I also see the Chiefs offense continue their strong play as of late led by the AFC offensive player of the week Jamaal Charles.

The Chiefs have scored 35 or more points in the first half in two straight games adding another record to their memorable 2013 season.

This match up will be a fun one to see as the two teams very well could play each other again in just two weeks to start the NFL Playoffs. While that potential pairing is still up in the air I look forward to seeing this scheduled game between two playoff teams. Then at the end watching the Chiefs leave the field with their 12th win on the season.

That’s what I REID Into it this week.
