Winter Weather Won't Stop Chick-fil-A from Serving the Community
February 26, 2013

Since it's opening at the end of summer 2012, Chick-fil-A has become a Lee's Summit resident favorite. Although they still aren't open on Sundays, they are open for business in this seemingly endless winter storm!
Brad Munson, Lee's Summit Chick-fil-A Owner, makes it a point to do different "Surprise and Delight" actions for his customers. This could be anything from upsizing everyone's drinks for an hour to handing out free homemade cookies.
Dustin Andrews, the Lee's Summit Chick-fil-A unit Marketing Director, brainstormed the "Surprise and Delight" idea to drive around Lee's Summit today with 50 free chicken sandwiches for residents shoveling the snow within a three mile radius of Chick-fil-A. The Chick-fil-A team also delivered free food to those few businesses open today.
"We're making someone's day and getting our product out," Munson said.
Chick-fil-A is operating today with just five employees who volunteered to brave the ice and snow to come into work. Besides Munson and Andrews; Tyler Pierotti, Director of Operations; Miles McLemore, team leader; and Rachel DeMoss, team leader; are providing your snow day Chick-fil-A in Lee's Summit.
With another snow day for LSR7 students tomorrow, Chick-fil-A is upsizing all students' meals if they show their student ID card. This is also the last day to get a free spicy chicken sandwich with the purchase of a shake.
Be safe when venturing beyond your cozy home in this winter weather, but if you are out and about, stop by Chick-fil-A. We'll keep you updated with their snow day promotional connections!
