Women In Business: Laura Maxwell

Laura Maxwell is an affluential woman, cheerfully and enthusiastically contributing her time and talents in a variety of ways that benefit so many people in Lee’s Summit. Wife, mother, business-owner, educator, editor, and humanitarian – just some of the ways Laura engages in the community.

Laura grew up in Mexico, Missouri. After graduating from Mizzou, she began working in the Lee’s Summit R-7 School District as a middle school English teacher. She and her husband were drawn to Lee’s Summit because of its small town feel and consistency of culture - the promotion and practice of shared beliefs and values.
