Jeanne Marshall of Longview Mansion

Located at 1200 SW Longview Park Drive, sits Longview Mansion surrounded by a lush of greenery and sleeping in front of it a well-kept sunken garden. Jeanne Marshall didn’t foresee herself as the future owner of the Mansion, she was a journalist and interviewed with a publishing company, that published the Canadian version of Time Magazine called, Maclean Hunter in Toronto, Canada. They discouraged her from being in journalism in Canada, “They said, I was an American, I was a divorced woman. There had to be a death on their totem pole for there to be any movement at all.”
