Erik Bendl is now driving to Colorado

The World Guy is 47 year old Erik Bendl who started his adventure with his dog, "Nice", and a big blue ball that looks like the earth, in Louisville, Kentucky on May the 2nd.
I caught up with him the afternoon of July 24th as he passed over MO 7 Hwy on 50 Hwy walking westbound.
The reason he is doing this walk is to bring attention to Diabetes, “My mother was 54 when she passed away with this disease and my uncle is 82 and has managed his diabetes since he was in his 40s, so if you take care of your self the disease can be managed.” Erik stated.
Erik will pass through Kansas City Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas then load up and fly to Colorado. Erick said, “I will top off my summer fun by rolling my ball to the top of Pikes Peak."
Erik states, "My resting heart rate is 45 when it used to be 70 because I walk everyday." Two years ago he walked from Louisville,
Kentucky to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in honor of his uncles 80th birthday.
