The Cool Cats of Lee’s Summit 10 and under softball team capped off an undefeated weekend with 5-3 win in the championship game and captured first place in the ASA Fall Kickoff fast pitch tournament, held at Blue Valley Sports Complex in Overland Park Sept. 16 and 17.

The team fought through some very close games, in the 9-team field, to reach the championship and finished 5-0 for the first time in their tournament history. The Cool Cats are just starting their 2nd year as a 10u team. This was the first of three scheduled tournaments for the team this fall.
