Lee's Summit High School's Steven Kingsolver: Champion of Character

Steven Kingsolver with parents Steve and Pam Kingsolver at the NAIA Champions of Character recognition at Municipal Auditorium.  The recipient of this award will consistently demonstrate the quality character traits of  integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership as identified by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. 

Two weeks earlier Steven, and his parents attended the Missouri Wrestling Association Awards banquet in Columbia where Steven was recognized for his academic and athletic achievement in being awarded Academic All state honors. To qualify a wrestler must place in the top six of his weight at the state wrestling tournament and have a grade point of 3.5 or higher. Steven has a 3.61 cumulative grade point average and was 3rd place at 189lbs.
