Lee's Summit High School Senior Hanna Lines has signed to pitch for the Maple Woods Community College Softball team, beginning next year.
Hanna began playing t-ball in the Lee's Summit Girls Softball Association. At the age of 12, she began needing a more competitive outlet for her skills. With the aid of pitching coach Jill Campbell, she was able to excel with Swingbuilder Lightening, a competitive team in Blue Springs, coached by Sarah Johnson and Trent Stephens.
In the state tournament of 2008, she was selected for the All-Tourney team. She played on the C-team and JV team for Lee's Summit High School during her freshman through junior years.
Hanna looks forward to becoming a Monarch.
