Lee's Summit North Broncos Defeat Panthers in Overtime

Lee's Summit Bronco P. J. Lewis(20) fights fights for the ball.

Continuing R-7 basketball's tendeancy toward overtime games, the Lee's Summit Broncos battled Raymore Peculiar to an overtime win of 57-54 Wednesday night in a game postponed from Tuesday 1/11/11.

The Broncos and Panthers kept it close for most of the game. Ending the half at 22-19, Broncos and the third quarter at 38-37, Broncos. The Panthers tied it up at the end of regulation 49-all.

The Broncos were able to go ahead in overtime and win.

PJ Lewis lead the team in scoring with 18 points including the hat trick in three pointers. He hit 2 FT with 2.5 left in OT to secure the win.

David Kravish got 13 points and 16 rebounds.

The Broncos host Blue Springs South Friday night(1/14/11).
