Lone Jack Sports Update 5/17/11

Lone Jack High School track had sectionals this past weekend. Dalton Shahan took 4th in the shot put, Joey Rains took 4th in 300m hurdles, Skylar Overlander took 6th in high jump, Tyler Wood took 3rd in the 800m run and 4th in the 1600m run. Alyssa Albin took 5th in high jump and 5th in 100m hurdles, Rachel Young took 1st in discus and 2nd in shot put, Jessica Pipes took 4th in discus, and Megan Wallace took 6th in the 1600m run. Boys 4x800m relay took 2nd and the girls 4x800m relay took 3rd and the 4x400m relay took 6th. Congrats to all the State Qualifiers: Rachel Young, Jessica Pipes, Megan Wallace, Maggie Kozak, Taylor Shope, Tori Theiss, Emily Hedrick, Dalton Shahan, Aaron Feehan, Tyler Wood, Stephen Metcalf, Joey Rains, and Carson Brown!

The baseball team defeated St. Mary’s Friday night 11-1, they lost to Sacred Heart Monday night 10-6 in District Play.
