The Missouri Mavericks took a 3-2 series lead in the best-of-seven
Turner Conference Finals with a 5-2 victory over the Fort Wayne Komets
night at Independence Events Center. Sebastien Thinel and Ed McGrane
notched two points each with a goal and an assist in the win and
Effinger made 24 saves on 26 shots by the Komets. The series now
back to Fort Wayne for Game Six of the series on Tuesday evening.
If necessary, Game Seven will be on Thursday. Faceoff for Tuesday’s
game will be 6:30pm Central Daylight Time. |
